All CrossFit class are in a group setting lead by a certified trainer. Classes are an hour long and start with a general warmup to help recover from the day before and get ready for the workout at hand. After the warmup there is usually a strength or skill movement. The coach will review proper technique then the class will tackle the movements while the coach gives pointers as needed. The strength / skill will usually be followed by a met-con (metabolic conditioning or cardio). The met-con will be a combination of gymnastics, barbell movements, and odd objects at a relative high pace.
